Horizons Day Nursery & Pre-School
A place to learn and grow.

Our Admissions Policy
The nursery is registered with Ofsted to provide care for children from 3 months-5 years.
We have an inclusive practice which values children as unique individuals and supports them to achieve their full potential.
The Nursery will accept children from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. We offer full and part time places to all children including those eligible for the funding up to 30 hours/week (please see below).
We accept childcare vouchers and payment via the tax free childcare scheme. Parents must provide all consumables (such as nappies, wipes, sun cream, nappy cream, body lotion etc). More details are available on request.
All children from the age of two wear uniform. We have a comprehensive set of regulations and policies which are intended to facilitate a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children, staff, parents/carers and visitors to our nurseries.
Our regulations and policies meet both the Every Child Matters (ECM) and the welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (‘EYFS'). These include:
-
Safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
-
Suitable people
-
Suitable premises, environment and equipment
-
Organisation
-
Documentation
Parents / carers are able to obtain a copy of these procedures upon request.

Children qualifying for up to 30 hours funded entitlement
What are the fees?
gable
Fees are £12 per hour for any extra hours beyond the those covered by the funded entitlement.
For children attending during funded hours, the nursery can provide lunch for an additional £7/day, but this is optional or you’re welcome to send a packed lunch.
Parents are invoiced each month and must pay promptly to prevent the outstanding fees from accumulating.
